T118 Insulated Steel Door Before and After

With this install we were working with removing and disposing our customers old door and replacing it with a 9 x 7 T118 in Sandstone. As you can see in the before picture the pavement is a little bit uneven so we did was was called a “scribed bottom section” which means scribing it to fit your concrete. The sandstone color was a nice choice as it blended nicely with the house. With the door we included a 2″ Standard Lift Hardware as well as perimeter weather stripping which will help in the up coming colder months. Our customer also chose to upgrade their opener to the Liftmaster 8165 Chain Drive Opener in which we included 1 remote.  Once we had the new door installed with the opener we made sure that everything was balanced and aligned accordingly while finishing the job with tightening the fasteners and testing the safety system for smooth operation before leaving site.
