You can see that this garage door is going sideways. With inspection you can see that the one edge is pulling up from one corner and not on the other. This extreme force will cause the door to shift sideways, the cable releasing from one edge of the drum will shovel all the force to one side of the door. This issue was caused by the homeowner’s wood falling in the edge of the door as the door tried to lower. This jamming of the door caused the cable to come off the one side.

After repair of the door you can see that the door is able to lower properly to the ground. This sideways door issue was fixed by reestablishing the cables so that both cables are set perfectly
