The traveler is responsible for gliding back and fourth during the lifting of your garage door. This traveler has pressure and forces on it, that makes the need for it to be greased. You can see the traveler has a piece of metal that has torn off the assembly.

This new T-Bar / Trolley / Traveler assembly ha s been installed in replacement of the broken / worn traveler.
