Replacement of Old Chain Drive Garage Door Operator in Vancouver

New Chain Drive Operator in Vancouver

For this install the removal and disposal of an old motor with a Chain Drive system was ordered in Vancouver.  The old LiftMaster™ operator had issues with the the sprocket being heavily worn and damaged. The springs were not calibrated properly and the door was extremely heavy, which meant that the springs required some adjustment.  The springs were adjusted so that the new motor would be not as stressed as the old operator.  A wood based door will tend to need more maintenance than a insulated steel garaged door because of the wood will tend to change weight during season changes
