With this service call our customer called in saying that they had a broken spring but they weren’t sure if that was the problem or not. Double Spring Changes are mandatory when a single spring is damage. When we arrived on site we determined right away that they did in fact have a broken spring. The technician also discovered that their tracks were also out of alignment. Once the new springs were installed we used two #5 hinges and adjusted the tracks and straightened them back into place. Once that we had the tracks back in place and the new springs installed we provided our customer with a general service maintenance package for their garage door and opener. The general service is essential in making sure that the door is running smoothly while finishing the job with testing the safety features before leaving site.
