LiftMaster Model 8165 Chain Drive Opener Installed in Downtown Vancouver

With this service call our customer called in saying they were having troubles with their old LiftMaster chain drive opener. When we inspected the automatic opener we saw that their motor was manufactured in 1995. Due to the age of the opener a replacement was the best decision. Our customer decided to upgrade the opener to the LiftMaster™ Model 8165 Chain Drive Opener as they were happy with how LiftMaster™ brand had held its value. With the opener we included two remotes as well as a 7′ T Bar trolley. Once the motor was installed and the remotes were programed we provided a general service to the garage door.

General Service

The general service is recommended to be done twice a year id you have a wood door and yearly for an insulated steel door. The general service assures that all the track is tightened properly fastened. The adjustments are critical as a loose part can cause damage to the door over time. After the door is balanced and essential adjustments are made we finished the job with a through lubrication of all hinges and bearings. The testing of the safety system is always performed before we leave the job site to assure that the customer is left with a safe smooth running door.
