Broken Spring In Tsawwassen

With this service call we had a customer call in saying that they were unable to open their garage door and were un sure why. When we got to the site we noticed that they had a broken spring which is why their door wouldn’t open. Having a broken spring and proceeding to try and open the door can damage a number of things but mostly the motor (opener) by making it work harder than it should for compensating for the broken spring. As you can see in the before picture the spring had snapped, not badly but enough to cause the door to not work as it should. Once we installed the new spring we provided a general service to the garage door making sure that everything was lubed and balanced accordingly leaving our customer confident with our work and install.
